Removing spyware from your system is a fairly straightforward matter if you have the right tools for the job. ( You do know what spyware is, right? ) Even if you ignore the rogue antispyware programs in the market there are probably still hundreds of different products available right now, all of which are able to remove spyware from your system with differing levels of success. Spyzooka is one of my favourites because not only is it genuine but it also has a simple and easy to use interface.

The majority of people do not want to think about dying but unfortunately, it is something that will happen to everyone and it is something that many people do not plan for. To avoid putting this emotional and financial turmoil on your family you must think about planning some details surrounding your death like having your will updated or written, planning what kind of funeral or memorial you would prefer as well as deciding how you would like your body to be laid to rest. Some people may wish to be cremated and their ashes sprinkled a specific way while others may hire a cemetery broker who will sell cemetery property to them before their passing. Losing a loved one after a long illness or to a tragic accident are both hard but usually , the stress of deciding what to do following the death and having to pay for it make that grief even more difficult in advance the less stressful it will be for your loved ones following your deathafter you pass away whether it is planned] or not

At the end of last week I asked which is the more secure – the Apple Mac or a Windows machine . As there were only a dozen comments its hard to draw too many conclusions but if you trawl the web you will undoubtedly see that there are Apple Mac fanboys as well as Windows proponents who will argue this point until they are blue in the face. SECURITY ISSUES The truth of the matter is that Windows machines do indeed face the majority of security issues . They have done so for quite some time and probably will do for a few more years to come. Mac users, however, should perhaps try feel some affinity for their Windows brethren as things are beginning to change

Whitelists are something I touched upon in the last post about keeping spam out of your kids’ inboxes . They are, possibly, the most effective tool available in terms of preventing spam completely. WHITELISTS ARE ALMOST 100% EFFECTIVE A whitelist is a user-created database which lists email addresses, IP addresses and domains that they have determined are safe. Anyone added to the whitelist can successfully send email to the recipient whilst the opposite is true – if you ain’t on the list you ain’t gettin’ in. For the database to be compiled the user needs to manually add each of their trusted sources.

A couple of posts back I gave out some simple tips for kids wishing to use email safely . None of those, however, will protect them from the bane of unsolicited email known as spam. Spam, if you don’t know already, is junk mail that is distributed to thousands or maybe even millions of people via bulk mailing programs. It is designed to make money for the senders by encouraging the recipient to make purchased, though a more recent trend is for spam email to link to malware and offensive websites.

The following post originally appeared here about a year ago but I’ve bumped it back up because there is currently an email going around that makes reference to the picture… Judging by the following picture, working in a power plant in the Texas area is risky business indeed – Is this is a genuine tornado or a hoax ? There is actually an element of truth to this photo – the tornado is quite genuine. As often happens though, someone with too much time on their hands and a copy of Photoshop has had a little fun with it. The power plant (which is really an oil rig) has quite clearly been added, as you can easily tell from the way the clouds cut out around the spire at the top. Verdict : HOAX.
